Gas Powered Games has finally found a publisher for its team-based action-RTS-RPG hybrid, Demigod. The developer announced this day that it had reached a publishing agreement with Sins of a Solar Empire publisher, Stardock.

As with Stardock’s other games, Demigod will be released without any on-disc copy protection. While this practice has earned the publisher some flak when it was first introduced, Stardock’s titles have consistently gained both critical and commercial success.

Demigod has also been budgeted for a lot of post-release feature updates. The game’s release date has been changed to February 2009, however, in order to fully support a public beta that will begin this summer. For now, you can check out these new screenshots:
