Atari doesn't have room for mistakes - Image 1Talking with Games Industry, Infogrames CEO David Gardner released a bold statement on the recently rejuvenated Atari company. In terms of doing business and games, he stated that they don’t have room for mistakes anymore.

The reason behind this is that Gardner is very well aware of how competition in the gaming market is really tough. New products from Atari must be able to sell in order to it to restart its business.

Furthermore, Gardner stated that the step they have to undertake must be able to deliver well to their customers. With this situation, he added that they were ” threading the needle a tiny bit.” According to him, it’s not easy to recover for small companies when things don’t sell that well.

Do you think you have the fortitude and intellect required to build an Empire from the ground up? Well, Paradox Interactive certainly thinks you do. It’s probably the reason why the company has released a new gameplay trailer for Europa Universalis: Rome, showing gamers just what the game can bring to the strategy department.

This successor to Europa Universalis III takes place on a somewhat smaller scale, though it can be stated that Europa Universalis: Rome is just as grand as its predecessor. The game takes you through the first Punic War all the way to the rise of the Roman Empire, and you can choose from different civilizations to start your quest for conquest. Watch as you build awe-inspiring cities, raise powerful armies, and amass great wealth, all in the comfort of your own home.

In any event, we’ll take our leave and let you enjoy the game trailer in all its glory. Remember, the game comes out on April 15, so you’ve a few days to save up some cash if you’re planning on getting it.
