A couple of days back, we posted a report saying that Maxis co-founder Jeff Braun was working with the folks at Oddworld Inhabitants to make a new Oddworld game. Well, we’ve got additional confirmation of a new Oddworld game in the works, courtesy of Lorne Lanning, the president of Oddworld Inhabitants.

According to the Game Industry report, Lanning confirmed the earlier news but didn’t provide other details. “I can confirm that we’re working with Jeff on Oddworld stuff,” notes Lanning, “but that’s all I have the ability to say at this time.”

The development of a new Oddworld game is good news, to state the least. That being said, here’s to hoping the devs come out with more details soon.

We’ve seen screenshots, we’ve watched videos, but we still can’t help but drool over Capcom’s Street Fighter IV. Rumors have been circulating that versions of this game will be available on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Computers by Winter this year.

According to the French video game website Jeux Video, Capcom made a mistake and accidentally announced the game, as well as its release date and platforms on a press site.

Take note that this has yet to be confirmed but we just thought you guys may want to hear about this little nugget of information. Hopefully, Capcom will release an official statement regarding this rumor. Till then, keep checking back here for more information.
