Over at this year’s E3, Ubisoft has released a new video of their upcoming Prince of Persia title for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Personal computer platforms. The clip will provide for more glimpses of how your new partner, Elika, will handle in combat.
Aerial ballet is an understatement in this case, with Elika jumping in at well-timed moments to unleash some painful-looking magical smackdowns on your enemy. You’ll still be in the spotlight of course, but your partner definitely merits some attention of her own.
One other visual tweak that’s been introduced is the cell shading. While it’s unclear if this will be how the game’s final build will look, admittedly, I do hope it is. Aside from adding subtle hints of storybook flair, it does make the whole thing look like an anime. The new Prince of Persia trailer is available for your viewing pleasure below.

Dr. Peter Venkman, Dr. Egon Spengler, Winston Zeddemore, and Dr. Ray Stantz showed up in this year’s E3 to remind everyone that The Ghostbusters are very much alive and still whoopin’ some supernatural tail. The trailer for Ghostbusters: The Video Game (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, DS, Computer) has been unveiled and it’s looking pretty impressive.
This clip will show you some familiar fiends and some old buddies in current-gen form. Proton blasts have never looked superior and so have the characters. Have a peek:
Pretty sweet stuff, we have to state. The game is set for release this fall by Sierra Entertainment and will be developed by Terminal Reality and Red Fly Studios.

We’ve come across a new trailer from Electronic Arts and Maxis on the highly anticipated The Sims 3, and as you’ll find out, it’s moved a little upwards in starting content and breadth. The early trailer already boasts what the developers has done with the latest installment to the Sims franchise, which include everything from upgraded visuals to full environment rendering.
And we mean, this could probably put The Sims 3 up there in suggested benchmarks. Yes, we’re that serious. The amount of Sims that appear at once seem to be increased by multiple folds, and the amount of detail and animation placed on every one might force a single-core CPU to blow a gasket. Of course, these are first impressions, and none of these are written in stone.
The appearance of this trailer seems to be cluing us in that EA intends to push out more official details of the 100-million selling franchise, so we’ll be looking out for that and possibly more. For the meantime, enjoy the feature we’ve embedded below.

Though it’s particularly a trend among Computer hardware retail sites, a quick look into TGDaily’s derived trend charts shows that NVIDIA has taken drastic price cuts for the GeForce GTX 200 line. On some instances, prices have dropped by as much as 25 on a branded video card, while the least of price drops vary from 10 to 15 in price drops.
Taking a gander over at Newegg.com certifies that the GeForce GTX 280’s price has indeed dropped by a solid US 150, while the GeForce GTX 260 could be had some US 100 lower than the regular tag price. Cards from ATI seem to be holding their price ranges for the moment, though there’s a noticeable steady decline in their tags.
However, we’ve noticed that some last generation cards seem to have increased in price ever so slowly, thus the hope that the trend might continue in the succeeding days might not hold water. Instead, we’d ideal watch the market trends in the next weeks to come.
Oh, and if the price points seem reasonable to you now, you might as well pick your target card up now before the numbers inflate again. More updates as we get them.

No, this ain’t another chick flick. If anything, this is another one of those games that feature kick-ass hot babe in true Charlie’s Angels form (the female lead looks like Lucy Liu… or Bai Ling). Sure, the stunts in the trailer so far does not show anything yet that may beat out Angelina Jolie’s moves in Wanted, but we believe in due time we’ll see more of that (hopefully).
Mirror’s Edge, an FPS action-adventure game from EA Digital Illusions CE (DICE), is slated to come out for the platforms PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Personal computer, and it boasts the power of Unreal Engine 3. If you’re still unaware (or worse, unbelieving!) of the Engine’s superb graphical prowess, then maybe this video will make a believer out of you.
This trailer presented at the ongoing E3 (and I’d have to note it’s definitely more exciting than last year’s, don’t you concur?) shows clips entirely in-game, and I guess that makes it as credible and as faithful as it can possibly be at this point.
The colors are sharp, and it showcases a wider range of actions. The way the camera’s angled also makes it more interesting as the limbs and the torso of the character are sometimes visible on the screen, thereby giving it that feel that she’s actually just wearing the camera on her head for that real “first-person perspective.”
Anyway, you’ll get what we’re saying more if you see it for yourself so we’ll be ceasing the chitchat now.
